Gingerbread cookie butter - a spread inspired by gingerbread flavors. You’ll gladly swipe this across cookies and dunk nuts and pretzels into it.
  • 2 pkgs Bahlsen Leibniz Butter Biscuits
  • 3 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3½ tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1½ tsp ground cloves
  • 1½ tsp ground allspice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1½ cups water
  1. In a food processor or high-speed blender, add the butter biscuits. Process until fine crumbs are achieved.
  2. Add the spices, vanilla extract, molasses and oil. Process until blended.
  3. On a low speed, drizzle in the water slowly until a creamy consistency forms. It should be similar to peanut butter. All the water may not be used.
  4. Serve or store in air-tight jars in the refrigerator.
