I always hear people say they have a hard time eating vegetables, but for me, fruit is the problem. While I like apples, strawberries, oranges and more, I much prefer veggies. To overcome my lack of fruit intake, I like to prepare smoothies. My new favorite ingredient is organic acai juice. Perfectly sweet and not requiring additional sugar, it’s the ideal base for any type of berry – in this case, strawberries. I like to add frozen ones to avoid the need for ice. This along with a banana and spinach in my Ninja blender and I’m all set with a delicious Acai Smoothie.
- 1 cup organic acai juice
- 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- Place all the ingredients in a blender and mix on medium speed until smooth. Serve immediately.
