I traditionally keep my site about recipes I try or develop as well as projects I work on, but today, I just have to share my experience with Cape Whoopies. I discovered them on Goldbely, a site that caters to people looking to try food from around the nation. All the way from Maine, Cape Whoopies’ whoopie pies are absolutely divine. They have a phenomenal menu to choose from, which includes the traditional chocolate and vanilla to the more radical chocolate and bourbon cream.
Of course I couldn’t help, but look at the vanilla varieties too. Ultimately, I chose Britt’s Fave (chocolate with chocolate cream), Salted Caramel (chocolate, sea salt and caramel cream), Strawberry Shortcake (vanilla with strawberry cream) and Boston Strong (vanilla, chocolate fudge and vanilla cream). They came packaged perfectly in festive paper, and with my first bite, my world was rocked. They are so delicious! The cookies are perfectly dense, but still soft. And the filling is a good balance between marshmallow and cream textures. A sandwiched treat indeed. So consider yourself informed and make sure you give Cape Whoopies a try. From personal experience, I can tell you it was awesomely fantastic!
