One of the things I knew I always needed was a partner in crime. This person had to be talented, have the tenacity to tackle obstacles with grace and possess a personality that makes working and playing together always fun. What I never knew was that this person would pop up in the most trying times of my career.
I want you all to meet Brooke West. Yes, this is the same person that made the beautiful chalk art for my anniversary spread. She and I have known each other for more than a year, but it feels like we’ve been friends so much longer. We worked together in what seems like a previous life, and since then, we’ve stayed friends. This lady was a great support system for me when I was making tough career decisions, and moreover, she is one of the most driven people I know.
In addition, she is oh so crafty. She has a charming Etsy shop filled with her handmade goods. Make sure to check it out by clicking here. You should also visit her portfolio to see all her chalk art, graphic design and crafts. It’s truly amazing!
I’ve always wanted to have a work environment where I could maintain my serious business face, but still hang out with friends rather than co-workers. Luckily for me, my first official blog contributor fits that mold. Let’s welcome Brooke and look forward to her many crafty contributions to the blog. I know we’ll all be eager to throw a dinner party with her ideas.
