I think gold is so stunning when paired with white plates and wood grains. There’s something so posh and yet, so enchanting at the same time. To ensure I maintained this level of elegance, I opted for a feminine napkin that has gentled embroidered waves. In addition, I wrapped the plates with delicate cheese cloth to add soft texture.
Instead of purchasing expensive chargers, I visited a local craft store to source gold candle plates that were the perfect size for my white plates. Candle plates are a great alternative because they can cost as little as a dollar each and pretty much serve the same purpose of a traditional charger.
Of course, I had to add a touch of greenery. Rosemary was ideal because it’s sturdy, which means the herb would withstand sitting out for a while, and the leaves are absolutely chic.
Overall, I thought the place setting was simply stunning, and I just love how it looks with the place cards made by my friend Kim from The TomKat Studio.
