Food has become a phenomenal outlet for me not only to express myself creatively, but also support the community. Among projects I love most is crafting over-the-top food boards that look more like gardens than they do a traditional charcuterie or cheese and crackers spread. It’s tough to explain what that looks like without photos. Fortunately, I have those and a fun time lapse to share of my most recent creation.
The Farm at Agritopia invited me to work with makers at Barnone. Without a doubt, I knew a food board highlighting the local businesses would be the best way to share their talents. I arrived to the farm store with a few artisan cheeses as well as my tools and props. My heart was quite happy to explore all the “crafts” that awaited my touch. Fresh produce, laser-cut wooden food signs, gourmet ingredients, wine, beer, florals and even a handsome crafted knife were items I got to use. I am thankful the farm and Barnone makers generously contributed to this beautiful creation, a spread we’ve officially dubbed a farm board – a fitting name indeed.
For now, I leave you to marvel at all the wonderful foods and unique items throughout this spread. Make sure to watch the time lapse as well. It’s a great way to see how I craft food boards. Maybe you’ll be inspired to make your own. If you do, please share it with me. Before I leave you to explore, you’ll likely want to know more about the farm, Barnone and the makers involved with this project. I’ll leave their Instagram handles for you to follow.
