THIS IS A SPONSORED POST. I HAVE RECEIVED PAYMENT FROM COST PLUS WORLD MARKET IN EXCHANGE FOR PROMOTING, BUT ALL OPINIONS STATED ARE MY OWN, AND I ONLY PROMOTE PRODUCTS I LOVE.
The Nomad collection by Cost Plus World Market is totally on point. It may be one of my fave collections launched to date. The vibrant colors, delicious ingredients and beautiful kitchen tools have me incredibly inspired to throw a Moroccan dinner party.
First off, I need all the essentials. For ease, I created a quick list of featured items for you to shop here:
- Blue Tile Terracotta Tagine
- Painted Wood Parat Bowl
- Spiceologist Tandoori Glory Spice Rub
- Diamond Geo Embroidered Napkins
- Mustapha’s Harissa
- Nomad Ikat Tea Tin
- Morocco Cookbook
- The Republic of Tea Organic Turmeric Ginger Green Tea
- Blue Tile Ceramic Tapas Dish
- Mustapha’s Preserved Lemon Confit
- Mini Hammered Copper Teakettle
- Mezze Small Plates Cookbook
From there, I can move on to the food and beverages. The tagine, in particular, is a traditional piece used to slow-cook savory dishes of meat and vegetables. Fill the base with your ingredients of choice and cover with just a bit of liquid, before transferring it to the oven or stovetop to cook. Don’t worry about submerging the ingredients fully. The tagine just needs a little bit of liquid to create steam to cook your food. Temperatures of no more than 350 degree F should be used. If you need other edible ideas, be sure to check out the two cookbooks I recommend above. There are plenty recipes to choose from, and every one would look terrific in the bowls featured in the Nomad collection. If you have trouble selecting just a few, I say go for an assortment of small plates. This way you can taste more unique dishes and share it with friends.
In terms of beverages, stick with tea. Green teas are commonly served with Moroccan meals, so I suggest bringing a kettle of water to a boil and adding a green tea bag infused with turmeric, a spice you won’t struggle finding in this culture.
Does this encourage you to throw a Moroccan-inspired dinner party? To help you achieve an even more cohesive look, Justina Blakeney was so nice to share a quick tip for adding a pop of color. This suggestion makes the perfect backdrop for entertaining with robust foods.
