Diced beef, carrots, onions and garlic, just what’s needed to make a delicious beef stew. Of course, this is no ordinary stew. This Asian version is inspired by Cantonese staples, including oyster sauce and Chinese rice wine. I also added ginger to the sauce, which contains a mix of sesame seed oil and oh-so-good soy sauce. And when I say soy sauce, you know I’m using Maggi – my absolute favorite brand. Nope, this is not a product pitch; I just happen to love this brand that much.
