It’s Monday, you know, the day everyone dreads simply because it reminds us that the weekend is over. And for me, this past weekend was grand! I celebrated a friend’s milestone birthday at his surprise beer tasting and tackled a bunch of projects. Funny enough, my project list is still quite long.
So needless to say, I wasn’t up for working today. But I rolled out of bed and got ready anyways. Thank goodness I have a low-key writing job by day. I can’t imagine feeling this way if I were a surgeon or secret agent for the CIA. Boy, that’s a recipe for disaster.
To perk me up, a sip of French 75 should do it. This recipe comes straight from New York’s Tailor Restaurant, where the bartender crafts some majorly delicious drinks. This was my first time trying a French 75, and I’m glad I chose this recipe. A former sweet-cocktails-only gal, this beverage is a nice transition away from sugary drinks. It’s like a lemon drop without the body shaking sweetness. Give it a try!
