Life has been quite the obstacle recently – one that has kept me busy and away from my blog. From work to family and so much more, I’m hoping the storm has passed so I can get back to doing what I love: exploring, being creative and writing about food. I won’t share many details because in all reality it makes me sad. It’s time to wake up from this somber dream and live again.
That being said, I hope you all have been living a wonderfully and eating well. I may be eating too well to be honest, so to combat that I’ve signed up for a half marathon in November. It will be my first one since my debacle of a marathon years ago that left me crushed and unexcited to run again. But it’s time and I’m actually excited to get back to doing something that helps clear my mind and keeps me refreshed.
On a side note, I made a last minute trip to Texas last Tuesday for the week. It’s been years since I’ve been back and I can happily say it still remains one of the loveliest places I’ve ever been. Seeing my family and friends was wonderful and we ate well indeed. Check out my iPhone food journey from Dallas to Houston (really Denton to Spring, but I figured the other two cities were more well-known).
It was a blast visiting all the places I love and new ones that I can’t wait to visit again in the future. For now I’m signing off and I hope to be chatting with you again soon happier and rejuvenated.
