If you have not heard, I officially started classes at Arizona State University to earn a degree in Food Industry Management – woohoo! Although I am a Sun Devil now, I’ll always have a soft spot for my Longhorns. Anyways, it is refreshing to see that there are new degree offerings and while this particular area of study is new in Arizona (and in most states really if they even offer it), I hope it’ll help my development and launch me into a career I know I’d truly love.
As I study, all I can think of is how you’ll be coming along in my journey with me and that I’ll be able to share my learnings with you. It does make a huge difference believe it or not. You make me feel not so alone and for that I thank each and every one of you. I’ve met a handful of you, spoken to a few others and for the rest, maybe we’ll meet one day as well. I hope it’ll be at some wonderful dinner where you and I can dine over the most appetizing foods and drink to our hearts’ content.
Anyways, to bring it back to reality, this does mean posting on my blog every weekday may not be so easy, but there’s plenty to talk about and new recipes I’ll continue to share. I sure hope you’ll stay by my side during this journey, and I’ll do my best to keep you posted about what I learn while sharing more about the foods we enjoy every day.
