There are some things in life that are so beautiful, but just take forever to come into being. For example, our plant above that we’ve had for three months. A part of me thought we did something wrong because a flower had not appeared for so long. But on Wednesday, we welcomed the first sign of a flower bud.
We also said good morning to some much needed rain. It was great to have some rain drops to cool us off from the 100+ degree heat.
Five hours later, I went back outside and sure enough, the rain and humidity helped our flower bloom just a bit more. I can’t wait until we’re able to enjoy the beauty that is this plant. Patience…patience…
