Warm afternoons and cool evenings always puts me in the mood for a picnic. In Arizona, there’s little time to think about planning for one since it turns from cold to hot pretty quickly. But for now, the weather is perfect. Enjoying the outdoors around 6 p.m. under a shady tree provides just enough light and coolness for a noshing session with friends and family.
While I’m in a picnic kind of mood, I thought I would share this easy and cute idea from the Garnish blog. Pockets of fun indeed! Not only are these silverware packs great for buffets, but I think they would be perfect packed in your picnic basket ready for use when you’re done setting out all the goodies. The individual salt and pepper packs are just darling. This is a great example of using simple products to its fullest.
Just in case you’re in the mood to plan your own picnic, here are some yummy recipes I found that can make your gathering a filling and happy one.
