The Magic Muffin Mix

All I can say is The Magic Muffin Mix is a brilliant idea! I know there are tons of muffin mix recipes out there – store-bought and homemade – but I absolutely adore how this one shows how easy and fun it can be to make your own versatile mix. I will definitely be referring to this in the future. Thank you to this site for sharing!

just wondering if there was a mis-print on the stevia… 1 c. is an awful lot, since it is very sweet… or is it Truvia, a stevia blend? thanks : )

Hi there! Well, because this is an informational piece that I was sharing and not one that was created by me, I cannot provide a specific answer to your question. The only thing I can recommend is using unsweetened applesauce to ensure the muffins do not come out overly sweet. :)

Do you have any idea how many calories each one is for the blueberry muffin?

Can I use regular sugar instead of stevia? If so, how much?

A spam site took this image and passed it off as their own on Pinterest tonight. Recipe Punch is their site. Total Spam. I am sorry. I repinned it with your address.

Im making them right now. mine totally over flowed. Oops! but they still taste good.. i’ll have to try again.

I’m so glad you got to try them out and that the flavors were delish. I say overflow makes for a good excuse to eat the not-so-pretty ones all for myself. ;)

  8. Annet says:

Just a question… Is it Stevia powder or liquid?

  9. buddafly says:

hi there, can you make strawberries n cream or other fruits also with your magic muffin mix.can I use regular or plain flour tooo

    • Joanna says:

Yes, you can use any fruit you’d like. I’d recommend dried fruit only though to avoid juices from the fruit interfering with the amount of liquid already in the recipe. All-purpose flour is fine as well.

I just made this recipe and it came out fabulous. I used the entire cup of Stevia sugar (I bought Stevia in the raw that says “great for baking”), everything was used according to the recipe. I did the blueberry muffins. I used my brownie pan that has 12 little individual pans/slots. It came out to make 9 little size healthy yummy muffins. Was not overly sweet at all… Just perfect. Thanks Joanna!
