Before hosting a grand wedding, we have to let people know about it of course. If it were up to me, I would do it all online to save money and the pretty trees, but some of us prefer to go the traditional route and that’s still fun too. Who doesn’t like getting an invitation in the mail?
For a foodie wedding, there are no set guidelines that insist you have to make it look like a menu or print food all over it. Play it simple or fun or both…either way, make it your own. I found two invitations I think would match my personality so well and show people that fun is what this wedding is all about.
First, this invitation from Green Wedding Shoes is perfect for showing a sophisticated yet whimsical side of my personality. The chalkboard-feel and clever use of fun fonts makes this simple invite stand out. Plus, the patterns provide a great contrast to the kraft paper. Love this one!
If by chance though I would like something with more color, 100 Layer Cake has just the invite I’m looking for. This invitation is so cute and full of personality. What caught my eye was that it looks hand drawn, which I obviously love. This for sure says, “Let’s have a great time!” A fantastic, lighthearted invitation indeed.
Which one do you like best or is there one you’d suggest?
