As promised, here are some quick tips and crafts just for you to recreate the excitement of Milkshakes & a Movie at home.
Part of the excitement of a party is getting the invite, am I right? It makes you feel so special, especially when it’s customized. So I had to make my own invitations just for this fun shindig. These turned out pretty snazzy I think.
And now you can create your own. Using this blank template, make edits using software like Publisher or cool online tools like Picnik to add your event details. When you’ve completed your invite, print on heavy card stock and start passing them out.
Next, you need these fun signs to highlight all your treats. Click on the images above to enlarge and print to the size you’d like. When I created my signs, I glued the printed signs onto foam board and then, using an X-ACTO knife, began cutting around the sign to create a sturdy board that could be hung from the ceiling with ribbon. If you use foam board and are wondering how to create the holes to hang your sign, try a screwdriver. Works like magic! 🙂
Finally, a few additional printables to round out your party. The How To and Menu can be framed for easy display while I find that it is much easier to print the different labels on full sheet shipping labels and cutting them to size with a craft paper trimmer and fun scrapbooking punches.
I hope you have a chance to use these nifty items at your next event. If you do, please share; I’d love to hear about your party.
