Here is some background before you view the pictures. Ben and I ran into a woman at the dog park last night who found a lost dog. She couldn’t keep him and was looking for someone to care for him and perhaps find the owner. Of course, we were heartbroken that a dog was without a home, so we offered to take him for a few days. Hopefully we will find the owner or a new home for him. He’s just the friendliest dog, but currently is in need of much grooming. No worries, we have scheduled one for Thursday, so he will look all fancy again. For now, I am calling him Oppenheimer. The name seems fitting; Ben hates it.
Back to the shoot along. These photos were taken this afternoon, and I feel it shows the lost feeling of the dog and the concern Halo shows for his situation. The emotions are just a guess, but if you were at my home this afternoon, I think you would sense those feelings as well. The black and white coloring was used because I thought it matched the mood.
