I hope everyone has their Mother’s Day shopping done, but if not, no worries. Here are some ideas to get you inspired.

Amy Atlas is about one of my favorite people to go to for ideas. I actually saw this tea and cookie gift on her blog and was quite impressed. Paired with a good book and you have a thoughtful present. You can find book ideas here.

Is your mom a gardener? Make a garden inspired wreath and add packets of seeds that she can use in her garden. I’ve always wanted to find a way to give more than just a potted plant, and I will have to say the person who came up with this idea was quite clever.

Impress your mom with a homemade cake. Make a filling out of her favorite fruit, add it to practically any cake and cover with buttercream frosting for a delicious treat.

My favorite idea is putting together a brunch in the garden. Yummy food plus great conversation equals a fantastic Mother’s Day. For a few good recipes, click here.
I hope that helps all you procrastinators out there. And for all you moms, even those with fur-kids, happy Mother’s Day!
